Culinary Career

Chef Emma has lived and worked in the Asheville area for over 15 years. The bulk of her experience is within the Private Country Club sector where she was the Executive Chef at Balsam Mountain Preserve, and notably completed her culinary internship at Old Edwards Inn and Spa - a Forbes Relais & Châteaux property focused on sustainable Luxury. She is a graduate of the AB Tech Culinary Arts program, where she competed on a National level through the American Culinary Federation. Emma has been working as a private chef for the past year & 1/2, and is ready to open up her books to the Asheville area! She specializes in multi-coursed wine dinners, with a passion for French, Southern, and Asian Fusion cuisines.

With a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, coupled with a Culinary Arts Degree and 12+ years in the culinary industry - Emma exudes confidence in her multi-cuisine approach to in-home cooking, and aims to provide an open and inclusive environment to all guests. She is flexible, easy-going, and a true lover of all things food!
